Description
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing anesthesia care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during surgical procedures. Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality of care and patient outcomes, while also supporting our clients in their staffing needs.
Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
Evaluate patients' medical histories and assess risk factors for anesthesia
Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients
Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Stay updated on the latest anesthesia techniques and technologies
Requirements
Associate's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia
Current CRNA certification and state licensure
Experience in anesthesiology, preferably in a clinical setting
Strong understanding of anesthesia pharmacology and techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking abilities
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Flexible Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
No call required
Level I Trauma
Facility: 500 beds
Cases: OB, endo, neuro, EP lab; no cardiac
Medical Direction: 3:1
EMR: Epic
