The Staff Accountant Position The Staff Accountant plays a key role within the organization’s accounting and finance team, reporting directly to the CFO. The position supports the company’s continued growth by handling day‑to‑day accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, journal entries, processing invoice and vendor payments, and general ledger activities. The Staff Accountant ensures accuracy and timeliness in financial processes, assists with audit preparation, develops standard operating procedures, and supports corporate finance initiatives. This individual provides financial insight and analysis to leadership, contributing to sound business decisions and operational efficiency.
