HR/Accounting Generalist
Job description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist and Staff accountant to join our highly energetic Administration team. This position will report to the Controller and provide a broad spectrum of support to both HR and Financial systems as well as strategic company initiatives. You will demonstrate a high level of integrity with personnel, payroll and financial information.
Position Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in a professional HR environment
2-5 years of experience in payroll / AP duties
Operate effectively in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Ability to discretely handle confidential information
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to multi-task in a complex, demanding and rapidly changing work environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be well organized and have strong attention to detail
Maintains management and employee confidence and protects organization operations by keeping information confidential
Contributes to human resources and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
Ability to process accounts receivable and accounts payable
Ability to make collection calls for past due clients
Provide accounting support to the Controller
Willingness to learn new systems and processes; specifically Quickbooks and Paycom.
