Job Summary:
We’re seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative Senior Financial Analyst with strong corporate finance, accounting, and FP&A experience to support a growing organization’s financial planning and reporting functions. This role requires someone who can operate confidently in a structured corporate environment, contribute immediately to forecasting and reporting activities, and take strong ownership of financial deliverables. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on FP&A and accounting exposure, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to synthesize complex financial data for senior leadership. This role also plays a key part in enhancing reporting processes and supporting a transition toward more automated, data‑driven analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long‑range planning within a corporate FP&A structure
Build, maintain, and enhance financial models used to analyze revenue, expenses, headcount, and profitability
Prepare recurring management reporting packages and support key financial deliverables for senior leadership
Analyze P&L results, monthly trends, variances, and operational drivers to provide meaningful insights
Partner with accounting during close cycles to review variances, validate results, and strengthen financial accuracy
Develop dashboards, KPIs, and analytical tools to improve transparency and decision‑making
Take ownership of reporting processes and ensure the timely, accurate delivery of financial information
Improve and streamline financial models, reporting templates, and analysis routines
Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity reviews
Assist with audit‑related requests and preparation of financial documentation
Support integration of new business units, including setup of reporting and alignment of financial processes
Lead or contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and projects in support of senior finance leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
5+ years of corporate FP&A and/or corporate finance experience, including exposure to accounting
Strong understanding of month‑end close processes and financial statement mechanics
Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management‑level reporting
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with complex datasets
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial results for leadership
Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and reporting structures in a fast‑moving environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and operate as a senior resource within a team
Required Experience:
Hands‑on corporate FP&A work with significant modeling and reporting responsibilities
Exposure to accounting close activities, variance explanations, and financial statement analysis
Experience creating management‑level reporting, dashboards, and financial summaries
Ability to operate independently and provide guidance as a senior individual contributor
Experience working across multiple business units or within a multi‑entity corporate structure
Compensation: Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
