Why This Role Matters As Senior Accountant, you’ll manage day-to-day accounting operations and play a key role in financial accuracy and compliance. What You’ll Do
Handle journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and bank deposits
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate job cost coding
Process payroll and allocate job costs, including union payroll and monthly reconciliations
Perform positive pay checks and monitor daily bank transactions
Support certified payroll reporting and compliance
Partner directly with leadership on financial accuracy and process improvements
What You Bring
6+ years of accounting experience (degree in Accounting or Finance preferred)
Strong understanding of general ledger, payroll, and reconciliations
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with leadership and staff
Integrity, confidence, and the ability to stand firm when needed
Experience with accounting software (Deltek Computer-EZ a plus)
