As a key contributor to Pega’s Payroll Team, you will work alongside highly talented professionals handling all aspects of payroll operations for Brazil as well as all General Ledger accounting and balancing for these entities. This position will also handle accounting accruals for our annual bonus plan. The Payroll Team may be globally spread out in the UK, Poland, India and U.S., but remains a tightly knit team of top‑notch technical accountants looking to add another strong member.

You will work as part of the Americas payroll team and have exposure and growth opportunities in our operations across North, Central and South America.
What You’ll Do at Pega
Work with members of the Americas payroll team to process a monthly payroll of 50+ employees in Brazil
Support payroll and tax transactions
Provide accounting accrual entries for time off and annual bonus plans
Provide support in assisting external and internal auditors
Gain invaluable experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, extremely diverse environment
Assist and backup as necessary for the Americas, EMEA and APAC payroll teams
Who You Are
Has 3 to 6 years proven track record of handling a medium‑sized payroll in Brazil
Solid understanding of payroll processes and common Brazilian tax issues
Strong understanding of accounting practices relating to payroll GL and accruals
Strong functional expertise in Excel
Works well in both team and individual environments
Good communication skills both oral and written in Portuguese and English
Established analytical and time‑management skills
What You’ve Accomplished Experience with international business operations is preferred
