Job Summary Supply Chain Analyst

is responsible for measuring, analyzing, and improving supply chain and operational processes to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. The role leads projects to improve processes across Operations, Manufacturing, and other functional areas, leveraging advanced data analysis tools and ERP systems. The analyst is a subject‑matter expert on cycle‑count processes, overseeing planning, execution, monitoring, and compliance for inventory control. Additionally, the analyst serves as the organization’s Power BI expert, supporting dashboard/report development, data modeling, and analytics for business decision‑making. The position requires independent work, cross‑functional collaboration, and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities \ Analyze existing supply chain processes and identify performance improvement and cost savings opportunities.

Implement and maintain process improvements by establishing best practices for materials management.

Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operations metrics.

Perform data analysis for a wide range of requests using data in different formats and from various platforms.

Serve as the primary point of contact and subject‑matter expert for Power BI, developing, maintaining, and optimizing dashboards and reports, creating DAX measures, and supporting data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

Manage the planning and execution of daily cycle counts in compliance with the organization’s inventory control policy.

Schedule and facilitate inventory reconciliation at onsite and offsite locations.

Monitor and report results of cycle‑count and inventory‑reconciliation activities; ensure accurate and timely information to all stakeholders.

Support cycle‑count auditing activities and requirements as needed.

Train and support team members in cycle‑count procedures, SAP transactions, and Power BI usage.

Perform audits of inventory control processes to verify team members are executing in accordance with inventory control standard work.

Develop and update work instructions and standard operating procedures related to operations.

Utilize Lean Six Sigma and value‑stream mapping techniques to drive successful project execution.

Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans; coordinate team activities and ensure timely completion of project milestones.

Manage project scope, resources, stakeholder input, risk, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, analyze current situations, and implement business changes following defined project plans.

Ensure compliance with applicable standard operating procedures, ISO, FDA, and other quality systems regulations, as well as applicable environmental health & safety, human resources, and other regulatory and administrative policies.

Networking / Key Relationships This position works regularly and collaboratively with staff in manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, quality engineering, production planning, shipping, and finance teams.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in operations, business administration, accounting/finance, or other business‑related field.

Experience: 5+ years of inventory analysis, supply chain and/or logistics analysis, preferably within a biotechnology manufacturing environment.

APICS / CPIM certification preferred.

Proficiency in Power BI.

Advanced user of Excel, Word, Power Point.

Proficiency with ERP systems required: SAP (MM, PP, QM).

Strong proficiency in SAP, Excel and other Microsoft Office products required.

Demonstrated success at analyzing and reconciling complex accounts required.

Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills required.

Proven track record of working cross‑functionally in a collaborative environment.

Warehouse / shipping working knowledge preferred.

Travel Requirements Up to 5% local travel.

Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this role is currently $80,000 to $115,000. The role is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with employer match, paid vacation and sick leave, and a performance‑based bonus.
