Retail Store Management Trainee
We are currently looking for the right candidate to join our team! This role is designed for external retail assistant managers and store managers interested in “fast-tracking” into a Store Management position. A minimum of 1 year retail management experience is required. Pay: $14.50 to $22.40 per hour. Perks and Benefits

We are seeking a Store Manager Trainee with a minimum of six months of Store Management experience. A Store Manager Trainee is accountable for day‑to‑day operations, promoting a positive and productive environment, partnering with the Store Manager to lead and develop employees, recruit and retain talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations and satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include analyzing store financial statements, committing to the company’s asset protection program, promoting the business, and targeting new customer acquisitions. Employees work with jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Compensation is hourly plus commission based on productivity and a bonus tied to store performance. Responsibilities of a Store Management Trainee
Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers and rapidly addressing issues. Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company‑prescribed channels. Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise. Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans. Administer processes and procedures within the store: inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, enterprise‑level reporting. Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting. Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of issued loans. Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested. Communicate clearly with employees to ensure understanding of the store’s mission and profit objectives. Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge. Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods of time (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting). Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. May need to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage. Minimum age: 18 years. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate. Willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Will work 45+ hours per week; hours based on business needs. Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Analytical skills. Cash handling experience required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent work ethic and strong business sense. Bilingual Applicants

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Store Manager Trainees have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. More details will be provided during the interview. Additional Notes
