Job Summary As a Program Cost Scheduling Control Analyst / Principal Program Cost Scheduling Control Analyst, you will support our strategic and space‑related business programs. The role works closely with program management, operational leaders, internal and external customers. Responsibilities include managing budgets, schedules, financial analyses, and ensuring adequate funding.
Responsibilities
Set up cost control systems and monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring a validated cost schedule control system.
Prepare budgets for contract work and perform financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
Prepare and analyze financial reports and communicate recommendations to management.
Work with the program team to integrate project cost with scheduled activity.
Provide monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis to support business processes.
Assist in planning and forecasting program financial performance and prepare future strategic plans.
Serve as a resource to management in understanding results by reporting and investigating variances.
Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to support continuous improvement.
Identify potential profit impacts to programs and recommend mitigation to improve profit margin.
Prepare and track key performance metrics to direct management.
Basic Requirements – Program Cost Scheduling Control Analyst
Minimum 6 years of finance experience (or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2 years experience; or Master’s degree with 0 years).
Knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications (e.g., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
Ability to extract, compile, document, and analyze data.
Team player who builds relationships with others.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting skills.
Independent self‑starter and proactive contributor.
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines and present deliverables cleanly.

Experience in developing and delivering presentations and leading small groups.
Aerospace and/or DoD internship or work experience.
Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
Experience executing programs with contractual EVMS requirements.
Experience with Deltek financial applications (CostPoint, Cobra, OpenPlan, PM Compass).
Salary Range
Primary Level: $72,400.00 – $108,600.00
Secondary Level: $89,900.00 – $134,900.00
