Maintenance Manager
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations across mobile equipment, stationary systems, utilities, planning, and procurement. This position drives safety, reliability, team development, and continuous improvement across a multi-shift operation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary maintenance team, including mechanics, electricians, laborers, and planners, across multiple shifts.
Oversee preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance programs to ensure high equipment reliability.
Champion safety practices, enforce compliance standards, and maintain a proactive safety culture.
Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and project execution for all plant equipment and infrastructure.
Monitor budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
Oversee spare parts purchasing and inventory levels, including minimum and maximum stock requirements.
Drive continuous improvement, problem resolution, and long-term maintenance strategies.
Serve as the escalation point for off-shift emergencies as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.
8+ years in maintenance or reliability, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
Experience in heavy industrial, mining, or similar environments is highly preferred.
Strong background with CMMS systems and modern maintenance best practices.
Proven success leading teams, managing projects, and improving equipment uptime.
