Senior Account Manager, Digital Fundraising

Responsibilities
Own high-frequency and marquee client programs end-to-end: strategy, planning, execution, QA, and performance
Set monthly/quarterly program strategy across email and SMS, including projections, content calendars, segmentation plans, testing roadmaps, and rapid-response protocols
Lead client communication: present insights, defend strategy, translate performance into clear recommendations, and build trust with senior stakeholders
Mentor and manage Associates, Strategists, and Fellows; provide clear feedback on writing, testing, segmentation, deliverability, and list growth best practices
Quality control: review/approve copy and builds; enforce brand voice, compliance, and rigorous QA across email, SMS, landing pages, and ads
Data-driven optimization: own weekly and monthly reporting; analyze KPIs, cohort trends, and test results; turn findings into actionable next steps
Budget stewardship: oversee ad and SMS spend tracking, pacing, and forecasting; flag risks early and reallocate to hit revenue and ROI goals
Hands-on support when needed: jump in to draft, edit, or load emails/SMS to maintain momentum during peak moments
Requirements
5–7+ years in digital, communications, fundraising, or campaign roles (political/advocacy experience strongly preferred)
Proven ownership of multi-channel digital fundraising programs with measurable revenue growth and ROI improvements
Exceptional writing and editing for email/SMS fundraising, with a strong testing mindset (subject lines, framing, CTAs, ask amounts, segmentation)
Platform familiarity: NGP, Action Network, ActBlue, Switchboard, Numero, ActionKit (or comparable tools)
Demonstrated people leadership: delegating, coaching, giving kind/actionable feedback, and developing teammates
Operational excellence: calm under pressure, strong organization, attention to detail, and reliable deadline management across multiple accounts
Strategic thinking with the ability to balance near-term goals and long-term program health
Sense of urgency and comfort operating in fast-moving political news cycles
