The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in environmental law and/or natural resources law. This position involves working on complex legal matters related to environmental regulation, land use, natural resource management, and compliance with federal and state environmental laws. Location: Salt Lake City, UT Duties: Provide legal counsel and support on environmental and natural resources matters, including regulatory compliance. Advise clients on land use, zoning, and natural resource management issues. Assist with environmental permitting, assessments, and litigation. Represent clients in negotiations with government agencies and during regulatory proceedings. Draft and review environmental impact assessments, reports, and other legal documents. Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and solutions related to environmental and natural resources issues. Requirements: 5-8 years of experience in environmental law, natural resources law, or a combination of both. Proven track record of handling regulatory compliance, permitting, and litigation matters related to environmental issues. Experience working with both private sector clients and governmental agencies. Strong understanding of federal and state environmental laws, regulations, and statutes. Ability to work on complex legal issues, independently and in collaboration with a team. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active member of the state bar in good standing. Skills: Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Expertise in environmental and natural resources law.
