Manager, IT Software Lifecycle & Vulnerability Remediation at KPMG US. This hybrid work opportunity is in the Digital Nexus Technology organization. Responsibilities
Drive Agile lifecycle for the end user computing estate, coaching contributors on methodologies to improve burndown and velocity. Investigate, analyze, troubleshoot, and report on operating system and application vulnerabilities to address end-of-support or end-of-life software, ensuring desktop stability and security through automated, packaged solutions. Collaborate with application owners to plan and execute upgrades, patches, replacements, decommissioning, and provide over-the-shoulder support for desktop systems as needed to maintain system integrity and security. Create and maintain documentation, including operational procedures, knowledge articles, user reference guides, and project plans; perform system health checks and develop test plans/cases for new applications and tool offerings, recommending enhancements where needed. Manage and refine deployment schedules; serve as escalation point for Level 3 support and major incidents, coordinating with partners and vendors to resolve complex technical issues. Coordinate with business, engineering, operations, and support teams to streamline processes, gain efficiencies, and enhance the overall user experience. Minimum five years of experience leading Agile squads and managing second-level or higher IT engineering or operations in a medium-to-large enterprise. Agile certifications are a plus. Strong knowledge of Jira, Windows 11, macOS, Linux, Hybrid Join, Co-management, Intune, Entra, Active Directory, Group Policy, Virtualization (Citrix, VMware), BitLocker, Office 365, browsers, SharePoint, Power BI, SQL, Visio, PowerShell, ServiceNow, MEM/MECM/SCCM. Solid understanding of software and vulnerability management concepts in a large enterprise. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to work with onshore and offshore business units and interact with individuals at all levels. Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, analytical, and independent judgment skills; ability to influence, mentor, and be a credible knowledge source for less experienced team members.
