Salary: $100,750 – $168,870 per year

ACS designs and manufactures innovative connectors and cable assemblies for server, storage, data center, mobile, RF, networking, industrial, business equipment, and automotive applications.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with customers and contract manufacturers to evaluate and address connector challenges related to the production process and functional integrity.
Assist with new process development and establish proper connector application and handling procedures.
Observe and assess customer/CM processes, providing constructive feedback.
Act as the first responder for customer/CM quality concerns, gathering data for internal teams.
Work with internal development, NPI, and quality engineering teams to drive continuous improvement of connector quality.
Receive feedback on product and packaging improvements; evaluate feasibility with the internal team.
Develop and evaluate custom application tooling as specified by the customer/CM.
Update customer-accessible documentation related to connector application and inspection.
Monitor CM production yields and provide assistance for process improvement.
Perform quantitative analysis of quality concerns at the customer/CM site.
Coordinate procurement of necessary application tooling for initial customer system assembly.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent coursework.
Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics component or electro‑mechanical assembly production, with preference for high‑speed connectors or contract manufacturers.
Knowledge of computer system design and assembly processes.
Experience with CAD modeling software (Creo preferred), GDT principles, and statistical engineering methods.
Ability to collect relevant data in a live production manufacturing environment.
Strong teamwork and project leadership skills, capable of directing others’ activities.
Excellent communication skills with global customers and cross‑functional teams.
Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
