Job Description The Manager, Enterprise Analytics and Forecasting, is responsible for expanding the Consumption data‑based reporting and modeling functions at Wells Enterprises. Builds, maintains, and trains users on usage of custom analytic dashboards, driving from data to insights. Acting as a trusted consulting partner for cross functional teams for category, trend, and analytics.
Responsibilities
Works closely with Senior Leadership in multiple cross‑functional roles to develop and deliver both automated and ad‑hoc analytic solutions using syndicated consumption data.
Scale and improve consumption forecasting through cross functional partnership with Advanced Analytics Team. Driving adoption through change management.
Supports analytic best practices via training and socialization of critical business tools.
Design, build and maintain dashboard and reporting applications to support action driven insights.
Works with consumer panel data sources available to help answer business needs and recommend opportunities to maintain brand health.
Seeks efficiencies in data visualization and delivery methods to ensure best‑in‑class tools are available to end user base.
An expert in category trends is able to synthesize large amount of data in order to provide executive level reporting and insights on an ad hoc and ongoing basis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, and Economic related field
3-5 years of working with syndicated consumption data (NIQ-Nielsen / Circana – IRI)
1-2 years of experience working with data visualization software (ex – Tableau, PowerBI)
1-2 years of experience utilizing statistical modeling techniques to explain drivers and forecast future volume in a CPG environment
Familiarity working with Syndicated data streams outside of vendors provided data environments.
In depth understanding of the Consumer Package Goods Industry.
In depth understanding of syndicated data (i.e. understand of how it’s built from disaggregate level to database).
Familiarity with other data streams available in CPG environment (ex – Internal Shipment data, loyalty card, API delivered, etc.).
Familiarity with household panel data, consumer research, and shelving principles. (Nielsen, IRI, Numerator).
Strong strategic thinking focuses using sound analysis of competition, trends and corporate strengths and weaknesses to drive decisions.
Proficiency in business insights tool (Tableau, PowerBI). Familiarity with Python, R, SASS is preferred but not required.
Proven ability to drive the organization to the next level of achievement with a strong sense of urgency and continuous improvement focus.
Curious individual with continuous improvement mindset.
The base pay range for this position is $115,000 to $162,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
