Senior Analyst, Wells Analytics

In this role, you will drive data to insights with a blend of analytic skills, deep business acumen, and partnership with senior cross‑functional stakeholders. You will create and enhance consumption reporting, conduct monthly report reviews, and analyze trends to meet the needs of cross‑functional user groups.
Responsibilities
Work closely with key business stakeholders to report on syndicated and custom data sources and drive insights.
Use syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen/Circana/SPINS, retailer POS data) to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the category landscape.
Design, develop, and maintain analytical reporting solutions (e.g., in Tableau or Power BI) that reflect business needs and allow end users to reach a needed level of granularity for decision making.
Conduct research on emerging trends, macroeconomic indicators, and drivers, both positive and negative, for our category and brand portfolio.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, RGM, advanced analytics) to scale analytical maturity.
Identify opportunities in the forecasting process and support forecasting projects.
Identify opportunities to enhance data processes, tools, and methodologies to improve analytical efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain a critical thinking mindset, continuous improvement orientation, and outside‑the‑box problem‑solving skills.
Communicate effectively and present recommendations to the brand team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in analytics, marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred.
Understanding of statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques.
Knowledge of marketing and financial performance metrics.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and comfortable with data mining.
Highly proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Strong communication skills to present data findings clearly and effectively.
Proficiency with Nielsen or IRI data.
Familiarity with Numerator or other panel data preferred.
Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Collaborative mindset and proactive approach to challenges.
The base pay range for this position is $84,648 to $118,507 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
Hybrid work arrangement.
