Position Title: Postdoctoral Scholar Pool - Department of Engineering Technology
The Department of Engineering Technology
seeks to develop a pool of candidates for postdoctoral scholars (post‑doc) positions. A post‑doc is a professional appointment designed to provide recent doctoral degree recipients with an opportunity to gain experiences and skills that will advance their careers. The post‑doc works under the supervision and sponsorship of a regular faculty member, who serves as a mentor and provides orientation and an orientation and development plan. The appointment involves substantial and full‑time commitment to research, scholarship, teaching, or other professional activities. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental/school need. Required Qualifications
Recently awarded a Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in a discipline relevant to those comprising the department.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience is preferred.
