Sr. Product Manager, Core Visibility
This is a unique Product Manager role that requires both strategic product thinking and hands‑on technical capability. You'll own the P&L and customer experience for core visibility and work directly with some of the world’s largest shippers.
Location: Chicago preferred. Open to remote with monthly travel to Chicago.
What you'll be doing
Product Strategy & Ownership:
Own product P&L, adoption metrics, and customer outcomes
Engage directly with enterprise customers to identify high‑value use cases
Drive go‑to‑market strategy with sales and customer success teams
Shape the long‑term vision for FourKites’ flagship over‑the‑road product line
Technical Product Development:
Personally mine and analyze data using Pendo, SQL/Python to gain usage insights and validate hypotheses
Build proof‑of‑concepts and prototypes using modern AI tools to demonstrate value
Define data models and analytics requirements for engineering teams
Run A/B tests and analyze product usage patterns
Collaborate with data scientists on ML model requirements
Success Metrics (Year 1):
Achieve >90% customer retention for core visibility products
Achieve 80%+ on new features released
Who you are Must‑Haves
At least 5+ years of Product Management experience in a fast‑growing SaaS company
Chain Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of operational supply chain challenges (shipper pain points, yard management, multimodal logistics)
Technical Hands‑On Ability: Comfort with cursor.ai or equivalent tools to be able to quickly build prototypes
Proficiency in SQL and Python to independently explore data and insights
Customer‑Facing Skills: Ability to engage with enterprise customers and translate needs into products
Self‑Starter Mindset: Thrives in ambiguity, identifies opportunities without waiting for briefs
BS in math, statistics, economics, engineering or a quantitative discipline. MBA preferred but not required

Hunger to Learn & Collaborate: Given the emerging nature of our data products, we require someone with passion, curiosity, and the ability to work closely with technical teams, customers, and other product managers to co‑create value.
Proactive Problem‑Solving Mindset: This is not a traditional, directive role. The person should be self‑driven, identifying gaps, researching market needs, and proposing solutions proactively without waiting for detailed briefs
