Clinician Educator, Nursery – Stanford University
Part-time (0.6 FTE) Clinician Educator at the Division of General Pediatrics, Stanford University School of Medicine. Rank will be Clinical Instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor depending on qualifications.
Responsibilities
Weekday and weekend direct patient care of newborns at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
Teaching medical students and pediatric residents.
Opportunities to participate in scholarship, quality improvement, and development of innovative care programs.
Qualifications
MD or equivalent.
Board certification in pediatrics.
Eligibility for a California medical license.
Experience in care of term newborns.
Proficiency in neonatal circumcision, neonatal frenotomy, lactation counseling, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
Spanish language proficiency preferred but not required.

Compensation Expected base pay range (1.0 FTE):
Clinical Instructor: $182,000 – $186,000
Clinical Assistant Professor: $214,000 – $227,000

It does not include all components of the School of Medicine faculty compensation program or pay from departmental incentive compensation programs.
