Responsibilities
Assign work to subordinates utilizing CMMS to maintain building operations
Provide quality control services for the work of subordinates and subcontractors to ensure maximum efficiency, economy, and quality of work performed
Perform diagnostic and repairs on building systems
Prepare work schedules
Train or arrange for training of contractor employees in the proper maintenance of building systems
Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work daily to provide on‑time delivery of contract requirements
Prepare and issue solicitations for the contractor as necessary for the acquisition of goods and services in support of the contract requirements
Administer the CMMS requirements daily
Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and project tracking software
Qualifications
Possess a valid DC Third Class Stationary Engineer License
Must pass a background check
Minimum of three years of experience (within the past ten years) in a facility of comparable size and complexity requiring similar services
Experience in BAS/EMS
Experience installing, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and maintaining all MEP systems and associated equipment
Knowledge of the composition, operation, and installation of a variety of MEP systems, circuits, equipment, and controls
Knowledge of national and local applicable and respective MEP codes
Demonstrated working knowledge of engineering and building systems
Ability to read, review, and understand blueprints
