We currently have an opportunity for an Equipment Manager for OHLA USA, Inc. in Irvine, CA. This is a full-time onsite position that reports to the National Fleet Director in FL.

Responsibilities

Supervision : Supervise and lead a team of mechanics, yard foremen, and yard support personnel, ensuring the efficient execution of all yard operations and responsibilities.

Equipment Inventory Management : Maintain an up-to-date and accurate equipment inventory, ensuring the availability and readiness of assets.

Vehicle Allocation : Assign pickup trucks to employees as necessary, ensuring information is continuously updated.

CDL Driver Records Maintenance : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for CDL drivers, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Monitor and assess equipment utilization : Make sure equipment is used effectively and efficiently.

Rental Equipment Management : Supervise the management and utilization of rental equipment, ensuring proper allocation and use.

Dispatch Participation : Participate in dispatch and call-offs within EC, providing operational support as necessary.

P&L Management : Take an active role in managing the department’s Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, ensuring financial goals are met and costs are controlled.

Purchase Order Approvals : Approve Purchase Orders (POs) related to Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Rentals.

Invoice Approval : Sign off on invoices in the capacity of Equipment Manager, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

GPS Equipment Monitoring : Stay engaged with the GPS tracking system to monitor and manage equipment locations and statuses.

Preventive Maintenance Oversight : Ensure proper control over equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules, adhering to regulatory and operational requirements.

Service Approvals : Approve services rendered by Enterprise, ensuring compliance with established standards and budgets.

Incident Management : Address matters related to stolen or accident-damaged equipment, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.

New Equipment Procurement : Oversee the purchase of new equipment, ensuring alignment with operational needs and budget constraints.

Equipment Disposal Management : Manage the process for the disposal of old or obsolete equipment in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

Candidate must have 10+ years of experience in a construction environment setting where the main duties were managing people and inventory of all assets.

High School Diploma required but some college preferred.

Bilingual, Spanish speaker preferred.

Previous experience in construction industry is required.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Must be a professional, dependable, and dedicated individual.

Attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills are essential.

Exhibit discretion and ability to safeguard sensitive and confidential information.

Must be capable of composing accurate and professional business correspondence.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously while working independently is critical.

Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, outside professionals, and employees at all levels within the organization.

Possess solid organizational and time management skills.

Must be articulate, proactive, dependable, responsive, and team oriented.

Compensation: The base salary being offered for this position is USD $120,000.00 per year to USD $140,000.00 per year. Please note that the salary range listed is specific to the role listed in Irvine, California. Salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on various factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, and performance.
