Hourly Pay:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule:
1st Shift – Monday to Thursday, 4:00 am to 2:30 pm

Summary The Trainer – Warehouse Operations will report to the Account Training Supervisor and provide on‑the‑job training and Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) training to new and existing employees. Trainers will also be asked to work in various departments outside of their training role as necessary due to staffing and customer demand.
Essential Functions
Administer on‑the‑job training and PIT training to new and existing employees in one‑on‑one or group setting.
Perform operational work in various warehouse departments outside of a training capacity as necessary due to staffing and customer demand.
Cross‑train in all warehouse areas and on all PIT equipment.
Update and maintain existing training documents and help create new training documents for various departments and job functions.
Perform standard work audits with new and existing employees to ensure adherence to process.
Additional Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education H.S. diploma/GED.
Experience
One (1) year or more experience – Training background preferred.
One (1) year or more experience driving various PIT equipment.
Skills
Excellent attendance record.
Good social/communication skills, can communicate effectively even when language barrier exists and handles diversity well.
Maintains a positive and professional attitude; avoids negative talk; represents Ryder with loyalty and respect at all times.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Capable of working in a flexible, changing environment; able to multitask.
Good organizational skills; prioritizes work effectively; understands time and deadline parameters; asks clarifying questions.
Proactively approaches problems, providing at least one solution to each issue.
Maintains composure when challenged or during times of stress.
Has a can‑do attitude; doesn't stop at the first hurdle, willing to pitch in and help where needed.
Excellent written and oral grasp of English language.
Flexibility to train on other shifts as needed a plus (preferred).
Knowledge Foundational level knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint; beginner level.
Licenses None.
