Venture Tech Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of duties related to the upkeep, repair, and installation of machinery, equipment, and building facilities.
Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking an experienced and reliable maintenance/handyman/woman. All around basic maintenance knowledge with experience.
Under limited supervision, performs a variety of general maintenance and some light janitorial duties from time to time.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Painting, caulking and drywall repairs
Performs routine plumbing repairs such as unstopping toilets, sinks or urinals, fixing water leaks, leaking faucets, and water fountains
Light maintenance duties such as plumbing and/or equipment repair or replacement
Assembles and moves furniture time to time, hangs pictures and bulletin boards, moves and sets up tables and chairs
The Maintenance Worker will appropriately clean and polish tile floors from time to time
Clean windows interior/exterior from time to time
Pressure Washing exterior entry areas
The Maintenance Worker will remove all stains from vertical surfaces such as doors, door frames, around light switches, private entry glass and dividers
Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
General building maintenance experience
Must have reliable transportation from Location Site to Location Site
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work involves moderate work. There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday.
