Join our dynamic team as a Quality Control Specialist, where your expertise will ensure the seamless processing and management of commercial and agricultural purpose loans. Responsibilities
Review and monitor Adverse Action files for procedural and regulatory compliance.
Review and monitor HMDA (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act) loans for procedural and regulatory compliance.
Review and monitor CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) loans for procedural and regulatory compliance.
Conduct daily post‑audit reviews of all originated and renewed commercial and ag loans, ensuring all executed loan documentation is in place per loan approval.
Conduct daily new note audits per FDICIA, ensuring loans are accurately set‑up in the core.
Perform daily file maintenance reviews per FDICIA, including all interest rate changes.
Assist with bank audit and exam requests by providing documentation, research, and review assistance.
Stay educated and involved with all lending regulations to ensure current and future reviews.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field of education.
Minimum of 5 years of previous work experience in loan servicing, loan processing, loan closing, underwriting, banking, or a similar field.
Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) to communicate and relate effectively with associates.
Good accounting/math skills with the ability to work precisely with numbers and financial calculations.
Demonstrated ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner.
Demonstrated problem‑solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and work in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with excellent follow‑up skills.
