Role Summary We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our dedicated team and cover up to 6 sessions per week. The role offers a chance to work within a supportive, well‑staffed practice, with a manageable patient workload, averaging 15 appointments per session.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population
Manage routine consultations (mix of face‑to‑face and telephone appointments)
Participate in occasional home visits if required (minimal)
Collaborate with the wider clinical team, including Nurse Practitioners and HCAs
Join in regular, informal team meetings for clinical support
Help ensure appointments are booked with the most appropriate clinician
Ideal Candidate We are looking for a motivated, patient‑centered GP who thrives in a supportive team environment.
The ideal candidate will have
Experience or interest in working in a rural setting
A commitment to high standards of patient care
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Practice Benefits
£12,800 per session salary
6 weeks of annual leave

About the Team
You will be working alongside a supportive team of 5 partners, 7 salaried GPs, a clinical lead, nurse practitioners, nurses, HCAs, and a paramedic.
The team is friendly, approachable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care.
Additional Information
Patient Demographic : Mostly affluent, with many young families and professionals moving to the area due to new housing developments
Clinical Support : Clinical team includes Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and HCAs with a paramedic for additional support
Duty Doctor : The role includes sharing responsibility for occasional duty doctor sessions, with triage support from our float GP
No Partnership Buy-In Required : As the practice doesn't own the building, there's no requirement for a costly buy‑in
