Develop and manage consultative relationships with National, Regional, and Insurance Broker Dealer advisors within the territory of TX, OK, AR, LA, MS. Assess advisor client needs to promote new products. Develop new producers while retaining existing producers to grow market share of 1290 Funds. Educate and train advisors on 1290 Funds and investment products. Utilize internal sales desk to assist in managing territory; collaborate with Internal Wholesaler. Use Salesforce (CRM) to log activity, maintain pipeline, and analyze opportunities. Communicate with National Sales Manager on an ongoing basis. Manage a budget and report expenses in a timely manner. Travel 75% of the time. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. FINRA 6 and 63 or 7 required. Knowledge of Mutual Funds and Investment products with previous direct sales experience. Demonstrated communication/interpersonal skills. Proven computer, mobile device, and organizational skills. Willingness to travel 75% of the time. Must be located within the territory. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in local area market. CIMA, CFA a plus. Skills
Client Relationship Management – Ability to address client needs and maintain engaged partnership. Effective Presentations – Knowledge of presentation tools and ability to present information to groups. Industry Knowledge – Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and major issues. Selling – Knowledge of sales tools, tactics, and techniques. Strategic Sales Planning – Ability to develop sales plans that support business strategy. Benefits
