Materials Control Specialist (A Group MLB_PE) - Houston, TX
Purpose of the position
Manage end-to-end material flow to meet production demand. Key focus areas:
Execute production planning and inventory control
Optimize warehouse operations balancing production requirements with cost efficiency
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock
Drive inventory optimization through turnover analysis
Resolve supply chain disruptions through proactive communication
Manage ERP data integrity and MRP operations
Oversee inter-facility material transfers and logistics cost allocation
Improve SOP efficiency
Manage excess/obsolete inventory
Education and work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field
1+ years materials control/procurement experience in manufacturing
