Test Inventory Control Engineer (A Group MLB_PE) - Houston, TX
Foxconn Technology Group, a global leader in electronics manufacturing, seeks a Test Inventory Control Engineer to drive strategic inventory optimization and ensure seamless test supply chain operations. Once part of the team you will lead end‑to‑end test inventory management through real‑time stock monitoring, data‑driven demand forecasting, and procurement execution; oversee inbound/outbound workflows, quality issue resolution, and supplier collaboration to optimize supply chain agility.
Responsibilities
Monitor real‑time test inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy and prevent shortages.
Resolve urgent component shortages by prioritizing critical testing needs with warehouse teams.
Track procurement timelines and engage suppliers proactively to eliminate delivery delays.
Lead root‑cause analysis for defective components and drive corrective actions to reduce recurrence.
Optimize demand forecasting models to reflect real‑world consumption patterns for better inventory planning.
Conduct monthly inventory audits to identify obsolete stock and implement strategic clearance plans.
Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures in all operational workflows.
Education & Experience Successful completion of 4‑years of high school, or equivalent, plus completion of 4 years of college with a bachelor’s degree, plus attainment of a master’s degree. Degree required: Electronic information engineering.
Preference for candidates with 1–3 years of test inventory management experience.
