This position is with the Core Processing Software (CPSW) team in Fort Worth, TX.

The role requires a software engineer to develop, integrate, and test software products for the F‑35 program. The successful candidate will act as a technical lead for a CPSW middleware software test team, managing requirements analysis, high‑level and detailed design, coding, test planning, unit testing, and CSCI integration testing.

Responsibilities

Lead development and testing of CPSW middleware software.

Perform requirements analysis and design documentation.

Write and maintain C/C++ code and Python test scripts.

Develop test cases and execute unit and integration tests.

Coordinate with inter‑organizational teams and external customers.

Adhere to XML open standards, Common Software Baseline processes, and Agile development practices.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a software‑related major or equivalent experience.

Advanced experience with C/C++ programming.

Advanced experience with Python scripting.

Experience with large realtime software development.

Experience performing qualification testing.

Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Desired Skills

Agile software development.

JSF architecture experience.

Full software lifecycle‑development experience and test philosophies.

Experience with software pipelines and GitLab repositories.

Testing safety‑critical software and requirement‑based CSCI testing with Parasoft C++ UT.

Linux operating system proficiency.

Atlassian Collaboration Tools (JIRA).

Leadership experience.

Mission systems/avionics background.

Test automation experience.

Experience with JADE/LIDS and SWAT testing.

Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
