Software Developer Senior
to join our team of passionate individuals in
Washington, DC.
In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation’s security and intelligence mission.
As a Top Secret Software Developer for this program, you will be working in an organization that’s mission is to develop and operate the best possible software for critical national security enterprise applications. This organization leverages SCRUM and SAFE Agile software development methodology and strong Dev Ops practices. You will be responsible for developing code, testing and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software. You will have a good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements. You will work with technical team to understand problems with software and resolve them. You will resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. You will be responsible for design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training to include automating application and configuration deployments and updates.
Responsibilities
Lead the efforts of: Design, develop, test, maintain and deploy new software applications
Analyze and design new software solutions based on user and technical requirements
Develop software in the AWS cloud
Analyze existing architecture and new requirements and prepare technical recommendations
Collaborate with cross functional teams
Respond outside of core business hours to critical tickets and incidents related to the application
Manage and mentor other development team members
Requirements
Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Minimum of 8 years of experience with 6 years of related technical specialized experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field
In absence of degree, additional years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements

Compensation The base salary range for this position is
$180k to $185k . This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
