Overview

As the Manager – Project Implementation you will oversee the successful execution of network implementation projects, leading facility launches, retrofits, customer moves, equipment, and automation implementations. You will partner closely with cross‑functional teams, business units, and external partners to drive day‑to‑day execution, remove obstacles, and ensure operational excellence throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Responsibilities Lead and manage assigned implementation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to defined scope, schedule, resource plan, and budget.

Execute standardized implementation methodologies and playbooks.

Build alignment with DC leadership, site teams, regional leaders, and functional owners to support adoption.

Coordinate cross‑functional teams including operations, engineering, EPMO, IT, HR, finance, and supply chain to ensure seamless execution and handoff to operations.

Monitor progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on‑time delivery and quality outcomes.

Drive discipline execution, including project plans, task tracking, decision logs, action item follow‑up, and milestone attainment.

Prepare and deliver timely updates, including status reports, dashboards, presentations, and risk reviews to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Facilitate workshops, UAT, site visits, vendor coordination, and issue resolution forums to drive alignment and keep projects on track.

Translate complex technology/process changes into simple workflows for frontline teams.

Lead training, demos, and onsite coaching for operators, supervisors, and managers.

Support change management initiatives, including stakeholder readiness, training deployment, documentation, SOP creation, and adoption of new processes and systems.

Conduct post‑implementation evaluations, identify lessons learned, and provide feedback for continuous improvement tools, standards, and methodologies.

Support organizational adoption by managing resistance, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and monitoring ramp KPIs.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, applied mathematics, business administration, or related field required.

Master’s degree in industrial engineering, applied mathematics, business administration, or related field preferred.

5+ years of relevant work experience required, 7+ years preferred, launching distribution centers, implementing automation systems, or introducing new warehouse technologies.

5+ years of experience leading complex projects in distribution, manufacturing, automation, or network implementation.

Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience presenting to leadership and stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead cross‑functional teams effectively.

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

Experience in supply chain or network implementation projects.

Familiarity with modeling tools such as Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru X or similar.

Ability to travel 25%–50% of the time.

Compensation

Base pay $106,352 - $180,798 annually. Compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of the total compensation package.
