Business Development Manager Construction – Mass Distribution Job location: working remote in one of European countries –

Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager Construction – Mass Distribution to manage the regional sales activity for the Mass Data business with a team of specialists supporting the local and regional sales efforts of our direct and distribution sales channels with sales expertise and expert industry knowledge.

Core Job Duties

Manage and develop the Mass Data business area with respect to all sales activity across the region

Work with your team to support the sales efforts of the local Topcon sales teams as well as those of our nominated Mass Data distributors.

Develop a strategy and approach to improve the Mass Data knowledge of all sales personnel from Topcon and our Distributors

Support the sales personnel with technical and commercial expertise in negotiation and demonstration scenarios across the region and with the support of your team

Collaborate with all key internal stakeholders to maximize market share and to fulfil customers’ needs

Identify strategic partnerships with other organisations or institutions to leverage their existing networks. Propose ideas to senior management for possible collaboration including software partners and other channels

Minimum Job Requirements Education and Experience

Trained in all areas of selling and sales management.

Proven experience in selling products & services directly to end-users and via third party distributors

7-10 years of experience in sales management within the mass distribution

In-depth understanding of the European mass distribution market, including regulatory frameworks, market trends, and competitive landscape.

Proven experience of managing a team of product sales specialists

Very good people management skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Understanding of the variable market pressures relating to sales

Ability to motivate a team (directly and indirectly) to deliver a good sales performance

Strong strategic thinking coupled with daily operational delivery of strategy

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

A technical expert in all aspects of Mass Data and the industry sector with experience of working with multiple software platforms related to mass data collection and data presentation.

You will have a broad network of contacts that you can leverage to optimise and maximise the Topcon presence in the Mass Data market.

You will have extensive experience of preparing and delivering technical and sales presentations in various forums.

The selected candidate should be living / resident in one of the European Countries.
