Location: Baltimore, MD. Pay: $37.50 per hour. Shift: Monday–Thursday, 10 hours.
Johnson & Towers, a subsidiary of
Indel Power Group , has an opening for B level Fleet Service Diesel Mechanics / Technicians. This role requires previous experience as a technician and services fleet equipment at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
Perform skilled tasks in diagnosing malfunctions, repairing, preventive maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls.
Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns.
Maintain commitment to safety and cleanliness.
Communicate job status, updates, and changes to the management team.
Requirements
Services fleet equipment at customer sites.
Driving record must be in good standing.

Physical Demands Technician roles are physically demanding and require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Occasional heavy lifting and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds (or more) may be required. The technician will frequently use hands to manipulate and grasp objects; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, or twist to perform repairs and inspections. Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication are essential. Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present. A technician may work in areas with temperature and/or humidity extremes.
