Role Summary
Pharmaceutical Sales - Territory Manager - Dermatology Specialty. Responsible for account-based selling to health care providers (HCPs) who prescribe and influence treatment for disease states in the Lilly dermatology portfolio. Build relationships with dermatology practices, hospital accounts, and key stakeholders to drive adoption of therapies, and identify relationships with advocacy groups, teaching institutions, influencers, and managed care organizations.
Responsibilities
Territory Management: Develops understanding of territory and reimbursement landscape; analyze and adapt to business needs using appropriate insights tools.
Account Management: Navigate healthcare environment to understand accounts and impact key stakeholders to become a trusted partner.
Selling Skills / Customer Experience: Exercise dialogue agility; actively listen and adapt to customer prompts.
Medical Integrity: Acquire and apply clinical knowledge of disease states, product portfolio, and therapeutic marketplace; engage with all members of an office/account.
Selling Skills: Promote entire product portfolio through patient-centered dialogue; use selling model to help identify appropriate patients.
Execution / Results: Utilize analytics to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals in compliance with internal policies and PhRMA code.
Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with field-facing and internal peers to create a coordinated customer experience.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree; valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record; authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship).
Preferred: Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical); additional work or graduate degree; experience in account-based selling and navigating complex health systems; familiarity with specialty pharmacy distribution; experience selling injectables/infusions; strong cross-functional collaboration; high learning agility; reside within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
