Job Overview
The Receiving Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming materials and components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. This role supports accurate documentation, maintains inventory integrity, and collaborates with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Inspecting incoming materials and components for quality and specification compliance
Verifying quantities and reviewing documentation against purchase orders
Recording inspection results and maintaining accurate records in the system
Identifying and reporting non-conforming materials; coordinating with suppliers and internal teams for resolution
Supporting inventory accuracy through proper labeling and storage of accepted materials
Ensuring adherence to safety and environmental guidelines during inspection and handling
Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives related to material handling and quality processes
What will help you thrive in this role?
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
1–2 years of experience in material inspection or quality control (preferred)
Proficient in using basic inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and squares
Working knowledge of material certifications (MTRs), Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and traceability documentation
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
Commitment to safety and quality standards
