Overview
Vaughn Construction is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator. Vaughn is one of the largest construction companies in Texas focused on building academic, healthcare, civic, and research buildings for commercial clients.
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for performing general warehouse duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform regular cycle counts and full inventory audits.
Update and maintain inventory databases.
Reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
Monitor stock levels and notify purchasing when reorder thresholds are met.
Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and supplies.
Label and organize inventory in designated storage areas.
Ensure proper rotation of stock.
Assist with order picking, packing, and staging for outbound shipments.
Maintain inventory database of all small tools issued to employees or job sites.
Track tool usage, condition, warranties and return status.
Coordinate tool repairs, replacements, and calibrations.
Ensure inventory and tools are stored in compliance with safety regulations.
Report damaged or unsafe equipment immediately.
Support warehouse cleanliness and organization standards.
Education and Training
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to safely operate a company truck.
Ability to navigate the greater Houston area via maps and personal knowledge to make timely deliveries to sites.
Good interpersonal skills – interaction and cooperation with superintendents and project managers.
Extremely reliable and punctual.
Self‑motivated and organized.
