Position:
Machining Maintenance Leader - 2nd Shift
Location:
Coldwater, MI (Full-Time)
Shift:
2nd Shift 2:30 p.m – 11:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities Direct and train manpower; perform evaluations and manage shift coverage. Enforce and model safety practices (LOTO, Arc Flash, confined space, fall protection). Communicate daily with shift leaders for smooth handoffs. Diagnose, repair, replace, assemble, and test machinery/equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on motors, drives, belts, filters, and systems. Use a variety of hand/power tools and precision instruments. Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Record repair work, costs, and maintenance activities. Perform welding, cutting, lubrication, and dismantling work as needed. Set up new equipment and fabricate/repair machine parts.
Qualification
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: 3+ years in leadership roles involving electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
Skills: Ability to read and understand electrical ladder diagrams and motor control circuits.
