Maintenance Technician Lead – 2nd Shift details: Direct Hire position, $31.50 /hour, Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:30pm to 11:00pm).
Direct Manpower on daily repairs or activities based on production requirements
Completion of manpower performance evaluations yearly and provide improvement plans
Responsible for manpower coverage based on vacation and call in.
Training manpower to meet skill levels needed to respond to all equipment issues.
Lead by example on all safety related policies and practices (LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined space, Fall protection).
Communicate daily activities with each shift leader to provide clear understanding of carry over items.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems.
Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions.
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct those, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts.
Qualifications Education: High School Graduate or GED. Experience: Three or more years of leadership experience working with electrical and mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs. Must understand electrical ladder circuits and motor control circuits. Skills & Abilities: Computer skills, Microsoft Office, Allen Bradley Software, Mitsubishi Software, Robotics Software, AutoCAD. Certificates & Licenses: Will train if needed.
