Basic Qualifications You must be 18 years or older. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent. You must have authorization to work in the United States or be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. You must have reliable transportation. Job Responsibilities Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures. Carry out sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, and furniture and equipment moving. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Use proper PPE when required. Open and lock facilities, and enable or disable the security system as needed. One to two years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required. Provide on‑the‑job training for high‑quality candidates. Demonstrate flexibility, multitasking, and a positive team attitude while wearing company uniform. Show respect and understanding toward co‑workers and customers. Be able to communicate in English. Physical Demands Constant standing, walking, and other repetitive movements; able to lift or carry up to 25 lbs. Ability to read cleaning instructions and differentiate cleaning products.
