We are seeking a
Enterprise Architect
to join our team supporting the
Transportation Team . Responsibilities & Qualifications
Lead enterprise architecture planning, ensuring IT systems are scalable, secure, and compliant with federal standards.
Develop architecture roadmaps aligned with OCIO enterprise strategy.
Maintain system interoperability, virtualization, and cloud architecture standards.
Ensure alignment with NIST SP 800‑53, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements.
Evaluate new technologies for performance and lifecycle cost benefits.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science or Systems Engineering.
Certifications: TOGAF 9+, AWS Solutions Architect, or Azure Architect; ITIL v4.
10–15 years in enterprise IT architecture, including 5+ years in federal programs.
Clearance: Public Trust – High Risk.
Work Environment and Physical Demands Location: Washington Metro Area (WMA)
Type of environment: Office
Noise level: Low
Work schedule: Day shift Monday – Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends.
Travel: 30% within WMA.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds. Frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
