Employment Type: Contract | Contract-to-Hire | Project-Based Robert Half is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with construction accounting experience to support our local clients. This opportunity offers a chance to grow your skills while contributing to the success of complex construction projects in an engaging, team-oriented setting. Process invoices and payments for subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. + Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable and resolve discrepancies. + Assist with financial statement preparation and cash flow analysis related to project costs. + Maintain organized records of project-specific payables and vendor documentation. + Collaborate closely with project managers and accounting teams to ensure accuracy. A high school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred. + Experience: 2+ years of accounts payable experience in the construction industry. + Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, or Procore) and Microsoft Excel. + Knowledge: Familiarity with construction project terminology, lien waivers, and payment applications. + With decades of expertise and a commitment to excellence, we've built enduring partnerships that help careers and companies thrive.
