Patient Representative
Location: New Hyde Park, NY
Hours: 40 hours/week (full-time)
Salary: $18-19/hr
Position Summary Our Patient Representatives are the backbone of our clinics and have a direct impact on patient experience. They work collaboratively with clinicians and colleagues to provide exceptional patient care and world‑class customer service.
Job Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients.
Schedule appointments.
Answer incoming phone calls.
Verify insurance coverage.
Obtain necessary authorizations.
Collect payments.
Process new patient registration.
Help the clinic maintain optimal performance.
Position Qualifications
1+ year of administrative experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent time‑management and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Self‑motivated with a drive to exceed patient expectations.
Adaptability and positive attitude in the face of fluctuating workloads.
