Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
to join our leadership team.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a desire to contribute to the continued growth and direction of our facility. This is a
civil service position
within the County’s unionized workforce and includes a
competitive salary and excellent benefits package .
Position Overview The Assistant Superintendent will play a key role in all aspects of golf course maintenance operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Operating a full range of turf maintenance equipment
Applying pesticides and fertilizers
Assisting with irrigation system repairs
Performing basic maintenance on equipment as needed
Supervising staff and managing daily assignments
Overseeing small projects throughout the season
Our maintenance team, led by the Head Superintendent, includes full-time and seasonal staff—a small but dedicated group committed to delivering high-quality playing conditions. The Assistant Superintendent will also be entrusted with managing operations in the Superintendent’s absence.
