The WebEOC / EOC Application Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing support of
Juvare WebEOC V10 , while also preparing the organization for its future migration to
Juvare WebEOC NexUs . This role supports both cloud and on-premises environments and works closely with internal stakeholders, end users, and external partners to ensure reliable Emergency Operations Center (EOC) system performance.
During emergency activations, the administrator may be required to work extended or flexible hours to ensure continuity of operations.
Key Responsibilities WebEOC Administration Administer, configure, and maintain Juvare WebEOC V10 for daily operational readiness and stability. Lead and support planning, testing, and migration efforts toward Juvare WebEOC NexUs. Manage users, positions, roles, permissions, and overall access provisioning. Configure incidents, system processes, notifications, plugins, and system settings. Develop, update, and troubleshoot WebEOC boards, including code adjustments and UI improvements. Migrate boards and configurations between environments via imports/exports. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system changes, procedures, and updates.
Integration & Technical Support Configure and support GIS integrations for both cloud and on-prem WebEOC deployments. Utilize the ArcGIS API for mapping services, geospatial data layers, and situational awareness tools. Partner with Juvare Professional Services and vendors to translate operational needs into technical solutions. Provide support for plug-ins, mapping tools, custom workflows, and additional integrations.
Communication & Notification Integrations Assist with Microsoft Teams notifications, alerts, and communication workflows integrated with WebEOC. Provide user support for Teams-based communication during both daily operations and activation periods.
EOC Application Support Support additional EOC-related systems, including Rave Alert and other notification platforms. Offer real-time troubleshooting and workflow guidance during emergency activations. Deliver end-user training and create documentation for WebEOC and related systems.
Operational Support Work extended or nonstandard hours as needed during emergency operations. Assist with other state applications, systems, or technical projects as assigned. Collaborate with emergency management teams, IT staff, and stakeholders to ensure operational readiness.
Required Qualifications Hands-on experience administering
Juvare WebEOC V10 . Experience supporting or participating in migrations to
WebEOC NexUs . Strong understanding of user provisioning, incident configuration, roles, and permissions. Experience with WebEOC board creation, editing, troubleshooting, and front-end code updates (HTML, JavaScript, etc.). Experience with
GIS integrations
and the
ArcGIS API . Familiarity with plug-ins, notifications, mapping tools, and communication integrations such as Microsoft Teams. Ability to collaborate with vendors and technical service providers to implement business requirements. Experience with cloud and on-premises WebEOC environments. Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication with both technical and nontechnical users.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with EOC communication systems such as
Rave Alert . Background in emergency management, public safety, or government operations. Familiarity with APIs, scripting, or basic database concepts. Experience with
.NET development
or working in
Visual Studio Code
for board-related scripting. Experience using source control tools such as
Git
or
TFS .
Education & Experience Bachelors degree
in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
