Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, results‑driven Labor & Employment Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law matters, with demonstrated expertise in litigation and/or pre‑litigation strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of wage and hour laws, PAGA claims, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases, as well as experience advising employers on compliance and risk management. The attorney will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload, developing case strategies, conducting legal research, drafting motions, and advocating for clients in both litigation and alternative dispute resolution settings.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert legal counsel on Employment Law matters including wage and hour, PAGA, workplace disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, etc.

Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pre‑litigation strategy, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.

Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution forums.

Advise clients on risk management and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Negotiate settlements and work to resolve disputes in a cost‑effective and timely manner.

Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other correspondence.

Develop strategies to prevent legal issues and minimize exposure for clients through proactive counsel.

Stay up to date with changes in employment law to provide clients with current and effective legal advice.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Labor & Employment defense or plaintiff experience preferred.

Proven ability to manage cases from intake to resolution independently and collaboratively.

Strong negotiation, communication, and writing skills.

Ability to provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice to clients.

Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

J.D. from an accredited law school.

Licensed in CA in good standing.
