Job Overview
Fine Tune is seeking a highly skilled Business Process Data Analyst to support our growing service offerings alongside a small team of analysts. This role is responsible for developing new processes, improving existing processes, and ensuring consistency across service offerings. This role will work closely with stakeholders in all divisions to evaluate needs, recommend solutions, and ultimately execute those ideas. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical skills in Excel (including Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulas and macros), Power BI, and other Microsoft products and a passion for optimizing business workflows through data insights.
Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business processes, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and explore automation possibilities for routine tasks
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and Excel-based reporting tools to provide actionable insights
Utilize Power Query and advanced Excel techniques (including macros) to clean, transform, and standardize data from multiple sources
Support the rollout of new service offerings by ensuring data integrity and process alignment across all divisions
Document processes and create user-friendly guides to promote consistency and efficiency
Monitor and evaluate data quality, implementing corrective actions as needed
Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and deliver accurate, timely reports for decision-making
Continuously monitor emerging technologies and guide the team in adopting and integrating these advancements into their workflows
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience with a proventrack record
Extensive experience in Power BI , Power Query , and other advanced Excel tools (including macros and advanced formulas)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to work remotein a space free from distractions
