Job Overview
Data Analyst Team Lead – Unity Rental Division (potential to expand into other divisions).
– Report to Executive Vice President, Lindsay Call.
– Manage a small team of analysts, ensuring high‑quality, accurate outputs.
– Step in as an analyst during team absences.
– Blend leadership with hands‑on technical expertise.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
Supervise and mentor data analysts, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
Assign projects, manage workloads, and ensure timely delivery of data insights.
Conduct annual performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Operational Support
Serve as a backup analyst during absences, performing tasks such as:
• Audit suppliers’ invoices monthly with eMOAT® to ensure contract compliance.
Communicate non‑compliance to suppliers and follow up until resolution.
Ensure projections are on target and identify the root cause of any variances.
Track and maintain credits, tasks, and other items in CRM and related systems.
Maintain continuity of critical reporting and analytics functions.
Assist in special projects.
Process Improvement & Validation
Validate data accuracy and integrity across all outputs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows to improve efficiency.
Implement best practices for data governance and documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of relevant work experience with a proven track record.
5+ years of intermediate‑level Excel experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Detail‑oriented and organized.
Ability to work remotely in a space free from distractions.
Accountable to yourself and your teammates.
Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on technical work.
