What You'll Do as the Accounting Manager
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, financial planning, grant reporting, and compliance.
- Prepare financial statements, manage audits, and ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Lead and mentor a team of three finance professionals.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic financial decisions.
What We're Looking For in an Accounting Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience , ideally with some supervisory or team lead responsibilities.
- Strong tenure in previous roles (2-3+ years per position).
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with automated accounting systems.
- Nonprofit or education background is a plus, but not required.
Details
- Location: Westminster, MD (on-site, 5 days/week - non-negotiable).
- Salary: Up to $130,000 (small bonuses possible). xrczosw
- Systems: Blackbaud (accounting) and Paylocity (payroll) - experience helpful but not required.
