Education:

High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

Pay range:

$20 - $23 per hour w/weekend differential

Status:

Per Diem (weekends and sick/vacation time)

About Us High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeast Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community‑based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Recovery Specialist Duties & Responsibilities

Applicants should have knowledge of substance use disorders & mental health conditions

Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, & boundaries

Facilitate & document group discussions

Complete client admission documentation

Complete property searches, monitor clients while maintaining a therapeutic, safe, & calm unit

Observation & accounting of patients at all times insuring while safety (hourly checks w/ documentation)

Escorting patients to meals & fresh air breaks

Attends required meetings & mandatory trainings

Recovery Specialist Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED
