matters. You’ll work alongside experienced trial attorneys and be part of a supportive, collaborative team that values development and high-quality legal work.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and analyze legal documents including reports to carriers, pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Conduct legal research as needed
Take and defend depositions (witnesses, experts, and claimants)
Handle court appearances for motions, hearings, and conferences
Manage cases from inception through resolution with strategic oversight
Collaborate with clients, experts, and colleagues to develop and execute strong defense strategies
Utilize
Litify
for case management, document handling, and workflow tracking
Qualifications:
1–2 years of experience
in insurance defense litigation
Active
Florida Bar
membership in good standing
Experience with
personal injury and/or bodily injury
cases (plaintiff or defense) highly preferred
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively
Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
Ability to handle depositions and engage with experts professionally
Familiarity with
Litify
or similar case-management systems is a plus
